A domain name is the unique name of your website such as satonamat.com for example. The domain name is the address of your site and is used to access it. It is also referred to as the URL. It usually ends with a suffix such as .co.uk or .com. Domain names must be registered. Once you decide on a domain name and register it, the name is yours until you stop renewing it. When the renewal period expires, the domain name becomes available for others to purchase.
NOTE: When you access a website, the domain name is actually translated to an IP address, which defines the server (space on the web) where the website located. This translation is performed dynamically by a service called DNS.
Internet Service Provider or ISP

This is short for “permanent link.” A permalink is a URL (or website address) that links to a specific page or post. This is good for blogs that may not have their own page names. Because most blogs are published using dynamic, database-driven websites, they do not automatically have web addresses associated with them. Therefore, once the posting is outdated and no longer present on the home page, there may be no way to access it. Using a permalink to define the location of each posting prevents blog entries from fading off into oblivion.
A responsive website is the description for the type of design that provides a customized viewing experience for different browser platforms and other devices such as a computer or iPador phone. The site may appear slightly different on each platform. Non responsive sites may be difficult to read on smaller devices.
The term spam actually comes from the canned meat! In internet terms it relates to either junk e-mail or irrelevant postings in a comment in a blog of internet notice board. All those emails your get that you never signed up for a re spam. Spamming is not a good look.
It was a pleasure to work with you! You took the time to really understand my vision and produced a site that exceeded my expectations. You made the process very easy – especially the technical side of things which can be challenging. Thank you very much! ~ Safiya Juma, Safiya Seeks
Kary built and designed the whole website in full for my wife’s small business, which is a tricky thing because of my wife’s lack of technical experience or interest, but Kary patiently and whenever appropriately made perfect decisions on her behalf. Both my wife and I hold Kary in high regard as a result of her capabilities, speediness and ability to produce great results without any hassle or interruption. Ian Young, The Grooming Hut

I chose to work with Kary on my new website as I was instantly hooked by her enthusiasm, her creativity and her professionalism. I had a very clear idea in my head of what I wanted and she brought that to life; the result was far better than I what I had envisioned in my head. Above all, she listened: this is a service that is tailor-made. Kary is a mid-wife of dreams and ideas! ~ Holly Cole, Yoga White
